Our Story
It all started with a pony... the best decision in my life was to buy a pony for my son! It was Risotto du Buhot that entered into our lives and I thought it would be a challenge to have a horse and manage my very active professional life and my son. However after 6 months my son told my husband that "Mum need her own horse"... This is how Garboso entered our life. A Spanish horse that was not really broken in and 4 years old. He is my mentor and metronome in life. I would not be where I am today without this very very special horse. A real prince that requires a lot of patience and questioning. Without this horse and the persons I have met I would never ever be launching into the adventure of getting a foal from Slovenia and even less a stallion and horse breeding...
However life is about opportunities and being capable to dare to take a chance and this is how I ended up getting first a Lipizzaner foal, Valdamora XI, from JJ Lipizzan as a future horse for my son. When I went to visit JJ Lipizzan I met Maestoso Bonadea XXXVI that just walked straight into my heart however he was not supposed to become mine as already sold. I also met Trompeta XXVI during my visit to JJ Lipizzan and she was supposed to be kept by the breeder.

However life is not always how we plan and Maestoso Bonadea XXXVI came up for sale and I decided immediately to buy him. Then we were three strong women who took the chance to send him to a breeding station in Italy to collect his semen so he could produce in Australia through Amanda Ramsey-Klaassen, Phoenix Park Lipizzaner Stud, and for the rest of the world with us and his breeder Jana Josovic Memon, JJ Lipizzans, for use in her breeding. Then Maestoso Bonadea XXXVI arrived to France to be broken in and to be trained to be able to make his start in the dressage competition as a five year old stallion in the French 5 year tests. He is such an easy going stallion and a real treasure.
When his half-sister Trompeta XXVI came up for sale I decided immediately to buy her just because I know how much she is like her brother and because she also touched my heart deeply when I met her several years earlier in Slovenia.
Valdamora XI has grown up to a very nice little lady and she remains the true horse of my son. She will be broken in in 2023. She is the most talented of all my horses and so much looking forward to her development. She will be a perfect match in the future with Maestoso Bonadea XXXVI.
In the meantime we also ended up buying a Welsh Cob Coldwell Floss for my son (or me for breeding). I loved this horse from the first minute and she is so strongly connected to both me and my son for many reasons. She is a very special horse and she really loves having foals and to be the aunt with youngsters. She is also a great jumper and a brilliant horse to work from the ground. She is now starting the beginning of our breeding with her foal Nelson Rosan Dubha.

I love all my horses and they are all part of the family as you can understand. We hope to share the passion of the wellbeing of the horses with the future owners of the foals to be born in our breeding.
